Friday night sees a cheeky slice of Championship action as West Brom take on Coventry live on Sky Sports Football Red Button and Sky Sports App.

The Baggies are 10th but a win would move them up to fifth – it’s that close – while Coventry are three points and three places down. A win would put them in the top half.

It’s live and kicks off at 7.45pm.

An extremely familiar face in Mick McCarthy is slated for his first league game as Blackpool manager this weekend – having started with a defeat in the FA Cup last Saturday. He begins their fight for survival on Saturday at 3pm in Middlesbrough.

At the same time, Sabri Lamouchi – previously at Nottingham Forest – is scheduled for his second game as Cardiff manager. You may have missed that he began his tenure with a 1-0 loss at Luton midweek.

And finally, there’s Shaun Maloney. He has become Wigan’s third permanent manager of the season after replacing Kolo Toure. His first game in charge of the club takes place at Blackburn on Monday night, live on Sky Sports cameras.
