Unions in every industry have staged strikes in disputes over wages and working conditions amid the cost of living crisis. Therefore, strikes that began in 2022 continued into 2023. These strikes by staff have impacted a range of services across London, including rail services, Royal Mail delivery, the NHS, ambulance drivers and even teachers’ unions. But when are the London train strikes in February 2023?

There are two strikes this week as Aslef workers rejected the wage offer and announced the February 1st and 3rd walkouts. In addition, Aslef workers will also go on strike on the Bakerloo line on 4th and 11th February.

It should be noted that the strikes on February 1st and 3rd will disrupt other rail services in London such as Thameslink, Southeastern and Southern. Lines bound for London such as Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, Great Western Railway, Greater Anglia, Great Northern, London North Eastern Railway and the Gatwick Express are also on hold due to the strikes.
