The repair shop moderator Jay Blades may have his hands full with his commitments on the hit BBC show, but the TV star also runs his own production company which is set to launch a new show in the New Year and it has a star-studded cast!

Jay’s company Hungry Jay is the team behind Channel 5’s new programme. No place is like homea six-part show that sees six famous faces return to their hometown to dig a little deeper.

As the summary states: “No place like Homhe sees [the celebrities] Take a walk down memory lane, return to the neighborhoods they grew up in and discover the history that was on their doorstep all along.
“Each episode, a celebrity learns more about themselves and the places they call ‘home’ as they explore the areas they created.”

Jay Blades’ production company is behind the new show
Famous names appearing on the show include sherlock Actress Amanda Abbington, who will be traveling back to Hertfordshire, death in paradise Star Ben Miller, who is set to return to Natwich, Invictus Games medalist JJ Chalmers travel to Edinburgh and earlier This morning Presenter Fern Britton returns to Buckinghamshire.
Football pundit Chris Kamara is also making an appearance and will travel to Middleborough, while broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire will travel ‘home’ to Bury and Littleborough.
Speaking of the new show produced by his company, Jay said, “I’m so proud that my production company has made another series of No place is like home for channel 5.
The program starts in the new year
“Having embarked on my own journey last year, I can’t wait for everyone to see how these six celebrities learn more about the history of the streets they grew up on in this very special series.”
Meanwhile, Jay’s fans can rejoice The workshop Christmas Special airing on Boxing Day.
No Place Like Home airs Wednesday 4th January at 9pm on Channel 5.
