I was cheated on and gave up on finding love – now I’ll only date men if they match my star sign… it’s changed my life

Unlucky Kelly Rian Sanson was scammed and almost gave up trying to find Mr. Right – now she says she only dates men who match her zodiac sign.
The stunning 34-year-old is just one of the contestants to star in a bold matchmaking show where top astrologers match couples using only their natal charts.

Kelly, who has been single for three years, said: “It’s 100 percent in the stars.
“I really do pray there is a second series because I’ve had the time of my life and I can’t wait for someone else to experience what I experienced. I loved every moment.
“It definitely works, definitely.”
She’s one of 12 starry singletons who travel to a luxury Greek villa to get engaged for the Discovery+ series Written In The Stars.
Before heading onto the show, presented by Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo, former model Kelly describes her love life as “questionable”.
She says: “I was cheated on. It was my first love and when it ended badly it really hit me.
“I would describe my love life as questionable based on the fun choices I’ve made.
“It obviously never worked out, that’s why I was single.”

Kelly, who is originally from Cheshire but now lives in Little Venice, West London, added: “I’ve run out of time to waste because time is ticking. I don’t want to waste time on meaningless relationships.
“I want a really deep connection. I want the one.”
Each contestant – many of whom wouldn’t look out of place on Love Island – represents the 12 signs of the zodiac.
Astrologers Michele Knight-Waite, Colin Bedell and Francesca Oddie set Kelly up with cheeky Cancer man David Templer, 32 – better known as The Shirtless Chef on TikTok.
Kelly, who is a twin, explains: “He’s not my usual type. I don’t think I would be attracted to him on a night out.”
But it was Olympic bobsledder Toby Olubi, 35, from Clapham, south London, who first caught her eye at the mansion.

Actress Kelly recalls, “Toby was my type and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to suit him. But then I wasn’t and when I met him I understood why.
“I was so open to the experience. They had obviously suited us for a reason. I was ready to learn and see why.
“On the show, I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to get three professionals who can help me find love.’ What a great way to get to know someone.”
Kelly says the experts showed her how and she and David are “more aligned.”
The six couples have to share a room for the duration of a lunar cycle – about a month.
Kelly says: “It was pretty overwhelming. You guys just met 10 minutes ago and you have to share the same room and bathroom but honestly it just felt so natural. We just laughed right away.
“We had a lot of banter.”
There was sizzling chemistry, too, and David even engaged in a cheeky kiss shortly after they were brought together.
Similar to other reality TV dating shows Love Island and Married At First Sight, her every move is watched by the producers.
Kelly says being on the show helped her see where she may have gone wrong in previous relationships.
She says of the experience: “It was strange to learn about yourself. It’s very vulnerable to open up like that. It lets you question your past decisions and see how you react in certain scenarios.”

She added: “It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. There was definitely drama. People have to tune in to find out.”
