ITV kicks off this Saturday at Sandown with this handicap hurdle for beginners over 2m4f. Champion Paul Nicholls seems to think Twinjets are worth taking on TWIN POWER I was beaten again by this horse at Plumtpon last time and I take the hint. Hopefully it will be better if Adrian Heskin takes over the drive.

NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?

Now a handicap chase over almost 2m. FRERO BANBOU is not quite at his best and he would really like it to rain hard but will be hard to keep out of the frame for Charlie Deutsch and Venetia Williams. He’s lost 2 pounds since a third at this distance to Xcitations last time.

Fancy a chance to win £/€50,000 for free?

Now a handicap chase over almost 4m! Very difficult to sort. The ground may not be adequate for the Southern Raider Truckers Lodge and I am tempted by the Hunter Chaser CAPTAIN CATTISTOCK which is not hopelessly rated at 133. He wasn’t at his best last time at Cheltenham but before that he was a good third at this track.

The Feature Grade 1 Scilly Isles Novices’ Chase over 2m4f. MONMIRAL has not quite kept up for a horse who finished second to Epatante in the Aintree Hurdle. However, he has not fallen out of favor behind Jonbon and The Real Whacker. I’m not exactly sure what his ideal journey is, but there’s no doubt he’s operating at that distance for champions Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden.

There’s one from Wetherby on ITV in this class 2 novice chase over 3m. Hard to disagree Ballygrifin Cottage for Jockey Harry and Dan Skelton. With 145 points and a nice win in Chase’s debut at Haydock, Albert Bartlett’s fourth should be too good here. A former point and hunter chase performer, so hunting was always his thing.

A handicap hurdle over almost 3m. call me lord Runs well at this distance and must have a chance to win for Ben Bromley and Nicky Henderson who weighs 7lbs. My pick was sixth at that mark of 144 at the same event last year but made two crucial mistakes on the second and penultimate that day. A good lap will put him in the right mix and he wasn’t completely embarrassed last time at Cheltenham after finishing a good second place at the circuit.

The fabulous Grade 1 Paddy Power Gold Cup over 3m. As for the winner, if Cheltenham are the ante-post favourites, it will come as a huge shock CHAMP’S GALOPIN is beaten for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend. Looked outstanding in the John Durkan and although endurance has been questioned by some he is a 3m class 1 novice hurdle winner at Punchestown.

Now a handicap hurdle over almost 2m. Hard heat again. COLLINGHAM is in good shape although I can’t say that he is severely handicapped. What he should be doing is running a race for Donald McCain and Charlie Maggs who shed a useful 10 pounds that could make all the difference. Goes down from 121 like he did second at this distance to Nayati who’s back for more last time out. A few pounds each way.

This time a 3m handicap chase and a wide open event. LASKALIN is not thrown in, but must have every chance as an each-way bet for Venetia Williams and Jockey Charlie Deutsch. A few heats ago he was past a 143 mark and now down to 133. However, he was beaten last time out at Newbury despite putting in a solid race in third behind Grumpy Charley. Endurance is not a problem and in good shape.

Good luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. do you hear me
