NJ stores that will be open on New Year’s Day

Some people just want to take it easy before the post-holiday blues kick in. Some won’t get off the couch and sleep off the New Year’s hangover.
But if you want to be productive and shop on New Year’s Day, there are stores that plan to be open. With large chains, it’s always a good idea to check with your local store in advance to see if they’re open.
Do you need groceries?
Stop & Shop will be open during regular business hours but their pharmacy may have restricted hours.
Wegmans will be open again as usual during the regular shop opening hours on New Year’s Day.
whole food is open but hours vary by location so call ahead.
CV Most are open during regular hours, however some may be restricted and the pharmacy has restricted opening hours. So call ahead.
CVS in New Hampshire
Walgreens Most have normal opening hours but some may close earlier and you should call pharmacy hours beforehand.
target will be open at normal times.
Walmart opens on New Year’s Day at regular opening hours.
Barnes & Noble will be open but hours vary so check with your individual location.
bed bath beyond should be open from 10am to 6pm but call ahead.
dicks will be open at regular times, but some locations may close earlier.
home depot will be open at different times.
Home Depot, Edison (Google Maps) NJ stores closed on Thanksgiving 2022
IKEA Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
cabbage open but with hours varying.
Macy’s open as usual.
Marshalls Expected to be open from 10am to 6pm but call ahead to make sure.
Petco is expected to have normal opening hours.
PetSmart Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
TJMaxx Expected to be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Again, plan your day by calling ahead.

Everything costs more these days—and living in New Jersey is certainly no exception.
Data for 2022 from January through August, compiled by New Jersey Realtors, shows that homes in South Jersey are coming to market and selling in less than a month on average.
Average single family home prices have reached $500,000+ in nine counties in North and Central Jersey.
All but two counties have seen homes cost more than list price on average this year.
