Prep report: Superior boys sweep back-to-back – Duluth News Tribune

Superior Boys Basketball rode level scores to its second win in as many nights Tuesday night, beating Solon Springs 66-58 at home in what led to a David-vs-Goliath match, at least by sign-up.
The Division 5 Eagles were in a one-ball game at halftime against the Division 1 Spartans (Superior led 26-23) but failed to make enough stops on the stretch to avoid their first loss of the season.
Calvin Anderson scored 16 points to lead the Spartans 3-3. Devon Ford added 13 and three others scored at least nine.
For the Eagles (4-1), Dylan Taggart emptied six treys and finished the game with 23 best points.
