Millionaire jailed for illegally building giant man cave could face prison again

A millionaire who illegally built ‘Britain’s biggest man cave’ could face jail again after his last court date – and neighbors have slammed him as an ‘arrogant little git’.
Accountant Graham Wildin, 70, was jailed for repeatedly refusing to demolish the extension — something he didn’t have permission to do before it was built.
He built the 10,000-square-foot leisure complex, which has a bowling alley, casino and movie theater behind his home, without applying for planning permission from the Forest of Dean District Council (FODCC).
Wildin, from Cirencester, Glocestershire, was jailed last year for failing to comply with a court order to close the building after eight years of fighting to keep it.
He was given 18 weeks after his release from prison to comply with an earlier court order to render the huge leisure complex unusable by “gently peeling off” the interior – the deadline expired last Friday – January 27.
It’s unclear if any work has been done – although moving vans have been spotted there in recent weeks.
However, if it is not fully undressed, he may be sent back to prison again.
However, officials could delay a decision until Wildin’s appeal of the sentence to the Court of Appeals on March 1.
Last April, a company owned by members of Wildin’s family acquired the land surrounding the building in a bid to save the massive leisure complex.
After initially moving his classic car collection onto the street to create a “parking mess,” it emerged he was buying neighboring lots and lots for his family — to thwart any attempts by city officials to have them forcibly removed.
Social media users posted online and slammed Wildin’s repeated refusal to demolish the building.
One said, “How much is this man costing the taxpayer?”

Another said: “I bloody hope so, arrogant little prat!”

But others had sympathy for him
One wrote: “Poor bastard – why can’t people just leave him alone.”
A FODDC spokesman said: “This is an ongoing legal matter and the Council will follow it up.”
Wildin was contacted for comment but had not responded at the time of publication.
