How are the Sheffield United players out on loan faring? Osula, Seriki, Eastwood and more

Sheffield United have had a number of young players on loan this season but how far are they from Bramall Lane?
Sheffield United are making good use of the credit market to develop some of their up-and-coming talent, giving them a chance to prove themselves in first-team football before making the move to Bramall Lane.
But how are those who aren’t currently with the Blades faring? As January approaches, we’re reaching out to Sheffield United’s players on loan…
Will Osula
Osula wasn’t able to secure a place at Derby County but he still made a good impression at Pride Park.
He scored twice in the 3-0 win over Accrington Stanley in October and has three goals and one assist in three FA Cup games. While one would have hoped he would start more games, he’s still benefiting from his time with the Rams.
Femi Seriki
20-year-old defender Seriki was a regular starter for League 2 contenders Rochdale in the early stages of the season but he’s found playing time difficult lately.
He hasn’t started since October, has come on three times in his last six games and watched from the bench three times.
Jake Eastwood
Unlike most of the names on this list, Eastwood already has a wealth of experience at the age of 26. He’s currently in Scotland with Ross County but he’s been No. 2 all season meaning he’s still awaiting his league debut for the Staggies.
JoeStarbuck
Starbuck spent some time in the National League North with Kidderminster Harriers earlier this season but is currently on a contract with Boston United until January.
He has played twice since joining and his situation will likely be reassessed upon his return next month.
Harry Boyes
Boyes was on loan at Solihull Moors last season but his spell at Forest Green Rovers was more difficult. He had to wait until October to make his debut due to injury but has since secured a spot. He has two assists in 14 games.
Zak Brunt
Midfielder Brunt, 21, has been a fixture at National League side Boreham Wood this season, making 23 appearances in all competitions.
It looks set for another promising spell away from Bramall Lane for Brunt, who many believe could make the grade with Paul Heckingbottom’s side in the future.
George Broadbent
Broadbent is also on loan at Boreham Wood, joining a January deal in September. He’s also secured a spot and has played every 90 minutes in all but two of his games since arriving.
As a winter returnee, the Blades will need to assess Broadbent’s next move next month.
Harrison Neal
Neal has spent much of his young career on loan so far and is currently getting his first chance in the EFL with Barrow.
He has also been a regular starter for promotion-chasing Pete Wilds Bluebirds and has racked up an impressive 28 appearances in all competitions.
Jean Belehouan
Last but not least is France centre-back Belehouan, who plays alongside Blade’s teammate Starbuck at Boston United.
The defender has been in strong form for the National League North side but has been sidelined since early November due to head injury records and remains sidelined as it stands.
