Nauvoo United Methodist Church

The Nauvoo United Methodist Church, 1410 5th Street, West Portsmouth, would like to extend a warm welcome to you to pray with us. The Sunday morning service begins at 11:00 am with Pastor Pete Shaffer bringing the message into the church room. Formation of the member class. Lutheran Church of St. John

St. John Lutheran Church invites you to worship with us this Advent season. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30am with Pastor Brent Cavendish. Sunday, December 18, Worship Service and Communion. The congregation will tell the nativity story through songs together with the children. Join us for this special service. Parish Council meeting after church. Saturday, December 24 at 7:00 p.m. is our annual Christmas Eve celebration service with candlelight and Holy Communion. There will be no service on Sunday, December 25th. Pastor Brent will post a Christmas message for the congregation to see. The annual congregational meeting will be held immediately after the service on Sunday, January 8th. We ask all members who are able to plan to do so.

North Moreland Baptist Christian Church

The North Moreland Christian Baptist Church will host a Christmas play for children during the morning service on Sunday December 18th. Breakfast is served every Sunday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am. Everyone is welcome. Sunday School 9:30-10:30 am Morning Service 10:30-12:00, Pastor Ryan Hagen. Evening Service 6:00 p.m. Wednesday Prayer Service 7:00 p.m. In memory of George Sisler, the Church will accept soda cans to continue his service. Cans can be picked up at the entrance to the Church’s Fellowship Hall on Harrisonville Ave. 1910 to be delivered in Portsmouth.

Central Church of Christ

Sundays: 10:30am – Worship Service & Children’s Bible Study; 5 p.m. – School group (grades 6-12). Wednesdays: 2 & 6 p.m. – Bible Study. Angle Tree presents until December 15th. Sunday 18 December at 10:30 am – Christmas program for children. Saturday 24 December at 6pm – Christmas candlelight service.
