Arsenal, Liverpool handed blow in Yunus Musah pursuit
Yunus Musah could stay at Valencia for the remainder of the season, dealing a blow to Arsenal and Liverpool.
Tribal Football reckons Yunus Musah could stay at La Liga giants Valencia for the remainder of the season. The American midfielder remains committed to the club. And the decision is bad news for Arsenal and Liverpool in their bid to land the 20-year-old midfielder.
Yunus Musah made a mark for the USMNT at the World Cup in Qatar and produced some outstanding performances for his country. He’s already a huge talent after his appearances at Valencia and there’s a feeling he could leave the Spanish side for a top club.
English clubs have expressed interest in taking on the 20-year-old La Liga midfielder but his contract also includes a hefty release clause. Valencia will remain relaxed for now with his contract running until 2026 but know the player could leave if a sizeable offer arrives.
Arsenal have shown interest and have reportedly recently turned down an offer for the midfielder. Mikel Arteta is keen on the USMNT star but may need to give himself some time before raising hopes of signing him. Musah was a product of Arsenal academy but left the club early for a free transfer to Valencia.

The idea of returning to the Emirates has appealed to him before but the Gunners are not alone in the pursuit. Arteta need a new midfielder in the central zone and the club are open to recruiting this month. There are links with Youri Tielemans but they are willing to wait and sign him on a free transfer.
