Praise for InvestSefton’s business support at popular Economic Forum event

Over 120 business delegates attended the free InvestSefton Economic Forum and Growth Hub Marketplace at The Lake House, Crosby last week.
Not only did they have the opportunity to network at the Growth Hub Marketplace and meet over 20 vendors, but they also had the opportunity to hear from a range of speakers.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s Robin Tudor spoke on Lufthansa’s investment in airport services, while Bank of England’s Ken Clarke gave an update on economic activity in the region.
Irina Shmakova from the Export Academy spoke about support for exporting companies and Geraldine Fuller from the Business and IP Center spoke about intellectual property. Mick Gallagher of St Helen’s Chamber advised on the Capital Grant Fund.
James Brayshaw of Southport-based AdaptiveComms Group chaired the panel.

Feedback from the event was again positive, with one delegate noting how impressed they were with how well Sefton helps their businesses. Others described the event as informative and interesting, and praised the guest speakers.
