MILL CREEK — Ezra Scott scored 20 points and Ethan McGee added 18 to lead Tygarts Valley to an 85-45 win over Notre Dame on Tuesday night.
In the Bulldogs (1-0), 13 players had scored points. Kaden Moore and Issaha Fox each added nine.
“We kicked the ball well” said TV trainer Tom Wamsley. “But we still have to work on some small things. We have dispensed with a lot of open looks.”
Connor Sandreth led the Irish with 23 points. Gabe Urso added 12.
Tygarts Valley visits Pendleton County on Friday night.

PHILIPPI — Brayden Thomason scored 25 points as Robert C. Byrd pulled ahead of Philip Barbour (72-58) in Tuesday night’s Big 10 Conference game.
Rylee Dickerson added 12 points for the Flying Eagles, who led 52-51 before ending the game on a 20-7 run.
TD Bodkins threw in 24 points for the Colts (2-2). Kaden Humphreys added 15 and Caden Hawkins added 11.

HAMBLETON — Kadie Colebank threw in 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to win Class A, No. 2 Tucker County 69-43 against Class AA, No. 4 Petersburg on Tuesday night.
Kolebank, who also had four assists and five blocks, hit 1,000 rebounds for her career in the win — the most in school history.
Ericka Zirk contributed 12 points, Brylee Wetzel 12 points, four assists and three steals, Avery Colebank 11 points and Macy Helmick seven points and four assists for the Lady Mountain Lions (3-0).
“It was a great team win” said Tucker County coach Dave Helmick. “Macy was sick and under the weather and everyone stepped up and we got a big win against a good team.”
Braylee Corbin had 16 points to lead the Lady Vikings, who fell 4-1 and host Musselman on Friday night.
That same evening, the Lady Mountain Lions entertained Pocahontas County.
