Who is Sarah Lancashire’s famous husband?

Sarah Lancashire is married to TV producer Peter Salmon
Formerly Director of BBC Studios and Chief Creative Officer of Endemol Shine Group, Peter is now Executive Chairman of Banijay UK. A position he assumed in 2020.
He has produced throughout his decade-long career Crimewatch UKoversaw the BBC broadcast of The Olympic Games and commissioned shows including Victoria Wood’s Dinner Ladies and Paul Abbotts clock out.
The couple married in 2001
After we met Coronation Streetin which Sarah starred as Raquel Watts and Peter worked for the series’ producers at Granada Studios, the couple soon developed a romantic relationship and later became engaged during a trip to New York in 2001. They married in a low-key ceremony in the Langar Hall in Nottinghamshire.
Among the many wedding guests present were Coronation Street Actors Kevin Kennedy and Charlie Lawson.

Does Sarah Lancashire have children?
Before meeting her husband Peter, Sarah was initially married to music teacher Gary Hargreaves. They welcomed two sons, Thomas in 1987 and Matthew in 1988, before separating in 1995 and divorcing soon after.
Sarah also shares a son, Joseph, who was born in 2003, with her now husband Peter. She is stepmother to Peter’s three sons from his previous marriage to Penny Watt.
