Monmouth County NJ 2023 Travel Guide cover photo contest underway

FREEHOLD — Calling all photographers! Grab your lens and let your imagination run wild.
The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners has announced its first Cover Photo Contest for Monmouth County Travel Guides, running now through February 1, 2023.
The winning photo will be featured on the cover of the globally coveted guide, said Commissioner Director Thomas Arnone.
“Also, it will be featured in future marketing efforts, with the photographer in the spotlight in the official guide,” he said.
The photos of the runners-up will also be published in the 2023 Guide.
How to submit a photo for the title contest
The preferred photo orientation is vertical. If the photo is horizontal, the image must be at least 3,000 pixels high. The photo should not exceed 10 MB.
The photo must be submitted in JPG format and must not contain any watermarks.

What are the Official Rules of the Cover Photo Contest?
Individuals submitting photos must be at least 18 years of age. Persons under the age of 18 require parental consent. Multiple entries are welcome.
All photos must be submitted via the website submission form and include all required contact information.
Photos must be taken within Monmouth County.
Monmouth County Tourism will select the finalists. Runners-up will receive a place in the travel guide with photo credit.
The competition runs until February 1, 2023.
“We can’t wait to see all the amazing photos from our county. We invite everyone to grab a camera and snap a photo that demonstrates that Monmouth County is one of the top tourism destinations in the world,” Arnone said.
