The light-hearted film stars Oscar-nominated Lily Tomlin, Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda, Oscar-winning actress Rita Moreno and Oscar-winning actress Sally Field. Seven-time Super Bowl champion and producer Tom Brady will also be there.

“When I wrote ‘Gonna Be You.’ 80 FOR BRADY, I wanted to write a song that celebrates the deep friendship these women have,” Warren shared. “Since 80 was in the title I had a crazy idea, why not get some of the most famous singers of the 80’s who are still amazing and always will be, to sing it all?!!!! Everyone I spoke to said yes and was just as excited as I was!! I’m honored to have Dolly Parton, Belinda Carlisle, Cyndi Lauper, Gloria Estefan and Debbie Harry on this song!! ‘Gonna Be You’ is the song you’ll want to sing along to with all your good friends!!!”

Parton started the year strong when she helped millions ring in the new year with co-host Miley Cyrus for Miley’s New Year’s Eve bash on NBC. During the event, Parton took a break from her co-hosting duties to appear with Cyrus multiple times during the show. Together, the two superstars performed duets of Joan Jett And The Blackhearts’ “I Love Rock ‘n Roll,” Patsy Cline’s “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.” and “Jolene”.

Gonna Be You isn’t the only project the country legend is working on. Parton announced she’s working on a “very special” gospel duet with Dionne Warwick. Warwick, 82, shared the exciting news during a discussion with Tamron Hall on the Tamron Hall Show on Wednesday (January 4). Parton also released “Bets On Us,” a collaboration with Cheat Codes, on January 6th.

Parton recently released her greatest hits album, Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection.

Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection contains 23 of her most successful songs from 1971-2020, including the legendary tracks “9 to 5”, “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You”. This is the first time Parton has combined original recordings released for the Greatest Hits project.

Inspired by her recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Parton is currently working on her first rock project.
