He died yesterday in the loving care of Abbey Breaffy Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his parents Jack, Ellen and his brother Fintan, he is deeply saddened by his loving family: brothers Joe (Spain), Finbar, Gerry (Australia), Enda, sisters Anne and Grace, sisters-in-law Mary (Australia), wife of Gerry , and Mary, wife of Enda, nephews, nieces Tara, Ryan, Ciara and Jack, cousins, relatives, neighbors and friends.
Rest Monday evening from 5.30pm at St Joseph’s Funeral Home, Ballinrobe with a 7pm transfer to St Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe.
Requiem Mass Tuesday morning at 11am with burial at New Cemetery, Ballinrobe.

Predeceased by his parents Val and Olive and nephew Matthew Barnaville, he is deeply saddened by his loving family Mary Imelda (St. Lucia), Helen (Limerick), Pearse (Vermont), Sheila (Cave), Brendan (Clagnagh). , twin brother Richard (Gurteenmore), Anita (Erriff), Paul (Cave), nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.

Patrick Walsh, Claremorris
Patrick (Paddy) Walsh, Ballinlough, Claremorris and formerly Coventry, England.
He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Mayo Roscommon Hospice, Castlebar.
Paddy, who is deceased by his father Martin Walsh (Blacksod) and mother Josie Walsh (née Maguire) (Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim), is sorely missed by his sisters and brothers Mary Gantley (Gort, Co. Galway) and is in be fondly remembered. Martin Walsh (Coventry, England), Bridie Kilgallon (Claremorris), Margaret Edwards (Naas, Co Kildare), John Walsh (Rugby, England), Nuala Grady (Rugby, England) and Carmel Kelly (Kenilworth, England); Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
Resurrection Mass on Monday at 11am at Our Lady Queen of Peace & St Gerald’s Church, Mayo Abbey with burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Drumlea, Co. Leitrim.
MARGARET LANGAN, BALLYCASTLE
Gretta (Margaret) Langan (née Higgins), Ballyknock, Ballycastle.
She died peacefully at the age of 101 surrounded by her family at Moy Ridge Nursing Nome.
Missing from their loving family: sons Dessie and Brendan; brother Jim; daughters-in-law Rose and Bridie; grandchildren, Sharon, Desmond, Raymond, Tracy, Sandra, Shane, Louise, Cathriona and Darragh; Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors and friends, may her gentle souls rest in peace.
Resting at Lynn’s Funeral Home, Killala, on Monday from 5pm to 7pm
Moved from her place of residence (Ballyknock) on Tuesday to St Bridget’s Church, Ballycastle for 1am requiem followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery.

Maureen O’Reilly, Tom Clarke Place, and formerly Roches Terrace, Ballina
Peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.
Predeceased of her parents Tom and Mary and her brother Bernard, she is sorely missed by her sister-in-law Aggie O’Reilly, niece Bernie Cawley, great-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives and friends.
Repose Tuesday morning from 11am at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina with transfer at 12pm to St Patrick’s Church, Ballina arriving for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm followed by burial at Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.
MARY POWER, BALLINA
Mary Power (née Loftus) of London and formerly of Bridge St, Ballina.
She died peacefully in London on January 7.
Predeceased by her husband John Power (formerly London and Kilmeaden, Co Waterford), parents Thomas and May Loftus (Bridge Street, Ballina) and brothers Tom, Frank and Seán Loftus.
Mary, beloved mother of Robert, Audrey and Michaela, mother-in-law of Birgit.
Missed by her son and daughters, beloved grandmother to Abi, Ben and Tim, brothers Msgr Padraic Loftus (Los Angeles), Jim Loftus (Toronto) and Paul Loftus (Montreal), beloved sister-in-law to Elaine and Vivi; beloved aunt to Fiona and Jess, Tom, Deborah and Kevin and Mary-Lynne, and to Eamon, Emer, Ronan, Brona, Miriam and Lee and all their children; as well as cousins, relatives, friends and neighbors.
Rest at McGowan Funeral Home, Ballina, on Tuesday evening from 5pm with transport at 6.30pm to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11:30 am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery.
