Prime Video announces new actors for the cast of the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

This is announced by Prime Video The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Powerwhich has already been watched by more than 100 million people around the world and became a global success in its first season by being the most watched Prime Video original series in all regions, has just added eight new actors to the cast, which will play recurring roles in the second year of production, currently filming in the UK.

New cast members are Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo and Callam Lynch.

OLIVER ALVIN WILSON

Oliver Alvin-Wilson’s television appearances include The Bay (ITV) as Guy Townsend, Murder in Provence (ITV) as Luc Martinez, security (BBC) as Chips Benson and lovesick (Netflix) as Alex. STUART BOWMAN

Stuart Bowman is currently starring in the television series The pact (BBC) Karen Pirie (ITV) and The control room (BBC). He has played recurring roles on Alex Rider (Prime Video), guild (BBC) bodyguard (netflix), Versailles (netflix), Grantchester (ITV) and Dead water fell (Channel 4) alongside David Tennant. Stuart’s film work includes Man and Witch, The Cursed, Sunset Song and Slow West🇧🇷 His recent plays include Macbeth (Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre) as Macduff.

GAVI SINGH CHERA

Gavi Singh Chera recently starred in the series The undeclared war (channel 4) and The Lazarus Project (Heaven). Other TV credits include vera (ITV) and doctors (BBC). On stage, Gavi has appeared in productions such as The cherry orchard (The Court Theater), Our generation, behind the beautiful eternities (National Theater), Duck, 1922: The Wasteland (Jermyn Street Theatre) and Pygmalion (upside down).

WILLIAM CHUBB

William Chubb is a prolific actor whose television appearances include Vampire Academy (Peacock), The Sandman (netflix), pistol (Hulu), quiz🇧🇷 Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (BBC) Law and Order: Great Britain (ITV) and house of cards (BBC). Kevin Eldon is a well-known actor in television, film and theater. He also performed The crown (netflix), Criminal: Great Britain (Netflix) and Doctor Who (BBC). He was in the movies The invention of Hugo Cabret, Big Lead, Four Lions and Set the stars on fireby Martin Scorsese, opposite Elijah Wood.
