Worcester boys edge Schenevus at home 41-36

Dec.14 – The Worcester boys beat Schenevus 41-36 at home on Tuesday.
Tyler Head led the Wolverines in the win with 12 points, Matthew Sanders and Connor Fancher had 10 and seven points, respectively, and Joey Geiskopf grabbed nine rebounds to go with six points.
Jackson Reed led Schenevus with 14 points and Cody Keator had 10.
Worcester will take on Stamford in the Lee Fisher Tournament next Wednesday in the Charlotte Valley. Meanwhile, Schenevus welcomes Edmeston on Friday.
Delhi 87, Oxford 29 (Monday)
The Delhi boys improved to 5-0 on Monday with a magnificent 87-29 win over Oxford.
Luke Schnabel poured in 31 points, along with eight steals for the Bulldogs. Elsewhere, Chuck Haight had 15 points and five rebounds, while Rocco Schnabel added 14 points and six rebounds.
Donovan Rickard led Oxford by 14 points.
Delhi opens its league list on Wednesday when it takes on Walton.
51 Sauquoit Valley, 50 Cooperstown (Monday)
The Cooperstown boys dropped a heartthrob to the Sauquoit Valley Monday 51-50.
The Hawkeyes were called out for a foul with less than 10 seconds of play. After Sauquoit Valley took both free throws, Cooperstown at the other end failed to hit the winning basket.
Miles Nelen led the score for Cooperstown with 15 points. Charlie Lambert finished the tournament with 13 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and three steals and Brody Murdock had nine points and six rebounds.

The Cooperstown boys’ swim team lost to Holland Patent in a meeting on Tuesday by a score of 95-76.
London Kinley and Graham Abrams each won two individual events, with Kinley taking first place in the 200 and 100 freestyle swimming and Abrams winning the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
Macon Aramini won the 500m free and Finn Morgan won the 100m backstroke while Cooperstown also won the 200m free in the relay.
Cooperstown hosts Utica Proctor and Sherburne-Earlville on Thursday.
